Description of the mortgaged premises: Situated in City of New Buffalo, Berrien County, Michigan, and described as: That part of Block 368, Virginia Addition to the Village of New Buffalo, according to the plat thereof, recorded March 20, 1837 in Book “E” of Deeds, Page 291, described as follows, to wit: Beginning at a point on the Westerly line of Clinton Street 133.42 feet North 30 degrees 36 minutes West of the most Easterly corner of said Block 368; thence South 59 degrees 19 minutes West 132 feet; thence North 30 degrees 36 minutes West 66 feet; thence North 59 degrees 19 minutes East 132 feet to the Westerly line of Clinton Street; thence South 30 degrees 36 minutes East 66 feet to the place of beginning.
The redemption period shall be 6 months from the date of such sale, unless determined abandoned in accordance with MCLA 600.3241a; or, if the subject real property is used for agricultural purposes as defined by MCL 600.3240(16).
If the property is sold at foreclosure sale under Chapter 32 of the Revised Judicature Act of 1961, pursuant to MCL 600.3278 the borrower will be held responsible to the person who buys the property at the mortgage foreclosure sale or to the mortgage holder for damaging the property during the redemption period.
