The Galien Township Board will hold a public hearing on the proposed township budget for fiscal year 2023-2024 at Galien Township Office located at 305 Kiley Drive, Galien on March 29, 2023, at 7:00pm. A copy of the budget is available for public inspection at the Galien Township Office.
Galien Township will collect the maximum allowable millage by law not to exceed the following millages:
General Operating .6947
Library .1728
Fire .9961
Library .9961
Fire/Ambulance .50000
The Galien Township board will provide necessary reasonable auxiliary aids and services, such as signers for the hearing impaired and audio tapes of printed materials being considered at the meeting, to individuals with disabilities at the meeting upon 5 day’s notice to the Galien Township board.
