NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER APPLICATION FOR AN OBSOLETE PROPERTY REHABILITATION ACT (OPRA) EXEMPTION CERTIFICATE OF 875 RIVERVIEW LLC
The City of Benton Harbor has been requested to hold a public hearing to consider the application for an Obsolete Property Rehabilitation (OPRA) Exemption Certificate by 875 RIVERVIEW LLC (the “Applicant”), pursuant to Act 146 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 2000, as amended.
The facilities will be located at 875 Riverview Dr, Benton Harbor, Michigan. The application of 875 Riverview Dr LLC, is on file and available for review in the City Clerk’s office at 200 E Wall St, Benton Harbor, Michigan, on the City’s website at www.bhcity.us or by emailing tmoore@bhcity.us.
The City of Benton Harbor City Commission will conduct a public hearing in the Lula Lee Commission Chambers, located at 200 E Wall St, Benton Harbor, Michigan on September 8, 2026, at 7:00 p.m., local time, at which time the Committee shall afford the Applicant, the City Assessor, a representative of each taxing unit which levies ad valorem property taxes in the City, and residents and taxpayers of the City an opportunity to be heard regarding the application for an Obsolete Property Rehabilitation Act (OPRA) Exemption Certificate for the Applicant.
