CITY OF BUCHANAN- NOTICE OF ORDINANCE AMEND “KEEPING OF DOMESTIC CHICKENS”

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that A Public Hearing has been set for Monday,
October 10, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at Buchanan City Hall, 302 N. Redbud
Trail, Buchanan, Michigan. The purpose of this hearing is to invite and
hear public comments on a proposed ordinance amendment to Chapter
12, Animals and Fowl.

Said ordinance to take effect immediately after enactment and publication
thereof. A complete copy of the Ordinance may be inspected
and/or obtained from the City Clerk. At the above time and place all
interested parties will be given an opportunity to be heard. Written comments
can be sent to the City Clerk, 302 N. Redbud Trail, Buchanan
Michigan 49107.

CODE OF ORDINANCES; TO AMEND CHAPTER 12, “ANIMALS AND
FOWL”, SECTION 12-1 DEFINITIONS; TO CREATE SECTION 12-5
“KEEPING OF DOMESTIC CHICKENS”; AND TO PROVIDE FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE FOR THIS ORDINANCE.
