ANNUAL MEETING NOTICE
BUCHANAN TOWNSHIP RESIDENTS
The next annual meeting of the electors of Buchanan Township will be held Thursday, March 21, 2019 at 6:30 p.m. at the Buchanan Township Hall, 15235 N. Main Street, Buchanan, MI.
At this time, in addition to other regular business and in accordance with the laws, the Buchanan Township Board will hold a public hearing on the proposed township budget for fiscal year 2019-2020 at Buchanan Township Hall, 15235 N. Main Street on March 21, 2019, promptly after the Annual Meeting of the Electors. The property tax millage rate proposed to be levied to support the proposed budget will be a subject of this hearing. A copy of the budget is available for public inspection at Buchanan Township Hall, 15235 N. Main Street, Buchanan, MI.
The Township will provide necessary reasonable auxiliary aids and services to individuals with disabilities who attend the public hearing upon five (5) days’ notice to the Township. Individuals who require such services should contact the Township at the address listed above or by telephone at 269-695-6442.
