NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER ESTABLISHMENT OF AN OBSOLETE PROPERTY REHABILITATION DISTRICT PURSUANT TO ACT 146 OF THE PUBLIC ACTS OF MICHIGAN OF 2000, AS AMENDED IN THE CITY OF BENTON HARBOR
The City of Benton Harbor has been requested to establish an Obsolete Property Rehabilitation District pursuant to Act 146 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 2000, as amended, to include the following property located in the City of Benton Harbor: 875 Riverview Dr (#11-51-0804-0003-20-0).
The City of Benton City Commission will conduct a public hearing in the Lula Lee Commission Chambers, located at 200 E Wall St, Benton Harbor, Michigan on September 8, 2026 at 7:00 p.m., local time, for comment by the owners of real property to be included in the district and any other resident or taxpayer of the City regarding the establishment of the Obsolete Property Rehabilitation District.
A map of the proposed area to be considered for the OPRA District is available for review at the City Clerk’s office at 200 E Wall St, Benton Harbor, Michigan, on the City’s website at www.bhcity.us, or by emailing tmoore@bhcity.us.
