Description of the mortgaged premises: Situated in City of Niles, Berrien County, Michigan, and described as: Lots 23 and 24, W. N. Burns Addition to the City of Niles, according to the Plat thereof, recorded June 6, 1928, in Liber 8 of Plats, Page 43; Also, a parcel of land South of Lots 23 and 24, described as follows: that part of Lot 44, Supervisor’s Plat No. 7, City of Niles, described as: Commencing 524 feet East of the Northwest corner of said Lot 44; thence West 100 feet; thence South 151.2 feet; thence East 85.65 feet to Easterly line of Lot 44; thence Northeasterly on said line to a point South of the place of beginning; thence North 121.4 feet to point of beginning.
The redemption period shall be 6 months from the date of such sale, unless determined abandoned in accordance with MCLA 600.3241a; or, if the subject real property is used for agricultural purposes as defined by MCL 600.3240(16).
If the property is sold at foreclosure sale under Chapter 32 of the Revised Judicature Act of 1961, pursuant to MCL 600.3278 the borrower will be held responsible to the person who buys the property at the mortgage foreclosure sale or to the mortgage holder for damaging the property during the redemption period.
