REGULAR BOARD MEETING SYNOPSIS
Supervisor Hicks called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. at the Township Hall, 3835 Buffalo Rd.
Board members present: Hicks, Kuhn, McDonald, Payton, Vite, White, Zelmer
Board members absent: None
Special Guests: Derek Hall, State of Michigan Auditor of the township books; Township Attorney Sara Senica
BOARD ACTION
Approved October 12, 2023, agenda as amended.
Approved consent agenda: September 14, 2023, regular Board Minutes; Expenditures of $50,883.11; September 2023 written/verbal reports: Treasurer, Sheriff, Fire, SMCAS, SEBC Landfill, PC, NATS. Approved 7-0 Industrial Lighting District Special Assessment District intent; Table website provider; Approved 7-0 Resolution #231012B – Opposing state legislation preempting local control for siting and permitting of utility-scale renewable facilities; Approved 5-2 Board appointment of chairperson in absence of Supervisor.
OTHER BUSINESS
Derek Hall presented the audit of the township books for the FYE 03/31/2023. The township board entered closed session from 10:10 p.m. to 11:03 p.m.
