LEGAL NOTICE
The Buchanan Charter Township Board of Review will meet at the Buchanan Charter Township Hall, 15235 N. Main Street, Buchanan, MI 49107 on the following dates:
Tuesday, March 7, 2023 5:00 p.m. Organizational Meeting
Tuesday, March 14, 2023 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm Appeal Hearing
6:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Thursday, March 16, 2023 9:00 am – 12:00 pm Appeal Hearing
1:00 pm – 4:00 pm
The Board of Review will meet as many more days as deemed necessary to hear questions, protests, and to equalize the 2023 assessments.
Appeals in person may be by appointment. Please call 269-695-6442 for appointments. Property owners may also appeal by writing to the Buchanan Charter Township Board of Review at 15235 N. Main Street, Buchanan, MI 49107. By Buchanan Charter Township Board of Trustees resolution, property owners/residents can protest by letter, provided the protest letter is received by 12:00 p.m. on March 16, 2023.
The tentative ratios and estimated multipliers for each class of real property and personal property for 2023 are as follows:
101 – AG – Real 44.53% 1.1228
201 – Commercial – Real 45.50% 1.0989
301 – Industrial – Real 43.91% 1.1387
401 – Residential – Real 44.42% 1.1256
