NOTICE OF ELECTION
BUCHANAN COMMUNITY SCHOOLS
nOVEMBER 6, 2018

To the qualified electors of the Cities and Townships in the Buchanan Community Schools, Berrien County, Michigan, notice is hereby given that an ELECTION will be held in the following precincts on Tuesday, nOVEMBER 6, 2018, for the purpose of electing two (2) school board members for six-year terms. Polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Persons with special needs, as defined in the Americans with Disabilities Act, should contact their City or Township Clerk. To comply with the Help America Vote Act (HAVA), voting instructions will be available on CD and in Braille. All polling locations are accessible for voters with disabilities.

The election will be held at the places in said cities and townships as indicated below:

Buchanan City pct. 2                 Redbud City Center, 131 S. Oak St.

Bertrand Twp. pct. 1                  Township Hall, 3835 Buffalo Rd.

Buchanan Township pct. 1         Township Hall, 15235 Main St.

Galien Township pct. 1              Fire Station, 305 Kiley Dr.

Niles Charter Twp. pct 1            Fairland Church, 1811 River Bluff Rd.

Niles Charter Twp. pct. 5            Bend of the River Conservation Club, 900 Mayflower Rd.

Oronoko Charter Twp. pct. 1      Township Hall, 4583 E. Snow Rd.

Weesaw Twp. pct. 1                  Township Hall, 13518 State St.

Absentee Voter ballots are available through your local city or township clerk’s office.
