To the qualified electors of Buchanan Charter Township in the County of Berrien, State of Michigan:
NOTICE
IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT A SPECIAL ELECTION will be held in Buchanan Charter Township in the County of Berrien, State of Michigan on Tuesday, August 08, 2023.
The polls are open on Tuesday, August 08, 2023, from 7:00 a.m. through 8:00 p.m. Precinct 1 held at the Township Hall located at 15235 Main Street, Buchanan, MI. 49107.
Please take notice that in said Special Election, the following to be voted upon:
LAKE MICHIGAN COLLEGE
CHARTER MILLAGE RENEWAL PROPOSITION
OPERATING PURPOSES
.8804 MILL FOR 20 YEARS

The last day to register in any manner other than in-person with the local clerk for the November General Election is April 17, 2023. After this date, anyone who qualifies as an elector may register to vote in person with proof of residency at the Clerk’s office in the Township Hall.
The Buchanan Charter Township Hall office will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday Augusst 5th and 6th for Absentee Ballot applications and voter registration.
