Description of the mortgaged premises: Situated in City of Benton Harbor, Berrien County, Michigan, and described as: That part of Lots 1 and 2, Block 2, Morton and Stevens 2nd Addition to City of Benton Harbor, Berrien County, Michigan described as: Commencing 50 feet East of Southwest corner of Lot 1, thence North 92 feet; East 30 feet; thence Northeasterly to point in North line of Lot 2, 88 feet East of Southwest corner of said Lot 2, thence East 12 feet, thence South 100 feet, thence West 50 feet to beginning, according to the plat thereof.
The redemption period shall be 6 months from the date of such sale, unless determined abandoned in accordance with MCLA 600.3241a; or, if the subject real property is used for agricultural purposes as defined by MCL 600.3240(16).
If the property is sold at foreclosure sale under Chapter 32 of the Revised Judicature Act of 1961, pursuant to MCL 600.3278 the borrower will be held responsible to the person who buys the property at the mortgage foreclosure sale or to the mortgage holder for damaging the property during the redemption period.
