MORTGAGE SALE – A mortgage was granted by John A. Jankowski, an unmarried man, mortgagor(s), to Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems, Inc., Mortgagee, dated August 19, 2013, and recorded on August 28, 2013 in Liber 3049 on Page 0021, and assigned by said Mortgagee to RoundPoint Mortgage Servicing Corporation as assignee as documented by an assignment, in Berrien county records, Michigan, on which mortgage there is claimed to be due at the date hereof the sum of One Hundred Ninety Thousand Two Hundred Seventy-Four and 38/100 Dollars ($190,274.38). Under the power of sale contained in said mortgage and the statute in such case made and provided, notice is hereby given that said mortgage will be foreclosed by a sale of the mortgaged premises, or
some part of them, at public vendue, at the place of holding the circuit court within Berrien County, at 10:00 AM, on June 8, 2017. Said premises are situated in Township of Berrien, Berrien County, Michigan, and are described as: That part of the Southwest fractional quarter of fractional Section 28, Township 6 South, Range 17 West, Berrien Township, Berrien County, Michigan, which is described as: Beginning at a point on the South line of said Section which is 2116.41 feet (recorded 2116.45 feet) East (assumed bearing) of the Southwest corner of said Section, thence North 00 degrees 00 minutes 19 seconds East (recorded North), 720.00 feet, thence East, parallel to said South line of Section 28, 270.00 feet, thence South 00 degrees 00 minutes 19 seconds West (recorded South), 320.00 feet, thence West, 90.00 feet, thence South 00 degrees 00 minutes 19 seconds West, 400.00 feet to said South line of Section 28, thence West, along said South line, 180.00 feet to the point of beginning. The redemption period shall be 6 months from the date of such sale, unless determined abandoned in accordance with MCLA 600.3241a, in which case the redemption period shall be 30 days from the date of such sale. If the property is sold at foreclosure sale under Chapter 32 of the Revised Judicature Act of 1961, pursuant to MCL 600.3278 the borrower will be held responsible to the person who buys the property at the mortgage foreclosure sale or to the mortgage holder for damaging the property during the redemption period.
