MORTGAGE SALE – Default has been made in the conditions of a mortgage made by Robert G. Flynn, a single man, to Washington Mutual Bank, Mortgagee, dated September 13, 2006 and recorded September 27, 2006 in Liber 2746, Page 1425. Said mortgage is now held by Deutsche Bank National Trust Company, as Trustee for Long Beach Mortgage Loan Trust 2006-10, by assignment. There is claimed to be due at the date hereof the sum of Four Hundred Eighty-Two Thousand Three Hundred Sixty-Three and 59/100 Dollars ($482,363.59), including interest at 6.975% per annum.
Under the power of sale contained in said mortgage and the statute in such case made and provided, notice is hereby given that said mortgage will be foreclosed by a sale of the mortgaged premises, or some part of them, at public vendue at the place of holding the circuit court within Berrien County, Michigan at 10:00 AM on MARCH 8, 2018.
Said premises are located in the Township of New Buffalo, Berrien County Michigan, and are described as:
LOT 2, BLOCK “B”, FIRST ADDITION TO GORDON’S BEACH, IN SECTION 36, TOWNSHIP 7 SOUTH, BERRIEN COUNTY, MICHIGAN, ACCORDING TO THE PLAT THEREOF, RECORDED JULY 11, 1925 IN VOLUME 7 OF PLATS, PAGE 46. TOWNSHIP OF NEW BUFFALO, BERRIEN COUNTY, MICHIGAN.
The redemption period shall be 6 months from the date of such sale, unless determined abandoned in accordance with MCLA §600.3241a, in which case the redemption period shall be 30 days from the date of such sale. TO ALL PURCHASERS: The foreclosing mortgagee can rescind the sale. In that event, your damages, if any, are limited solely to the return of the bid amount tendered at sale, plus interest.
If the property is sold at foreclosure sale, pursuant to MCL 600.3278, the borrower will be held responsible to the person who buys the property at the mortgage foreclosure sale or to the mortgage holder for damage to the property during the redemption period.
