NOTICE OF BUDGET PUBLIC HEARING
The Royalton Township Board of Trustees will hold a public hearing on the proposed township budget for fiscal year 2021/22 at the Royalton Township Hall, 980 Miners Road, St. Joseph on Monday, March 29, 2021 at 7:00 P.M. *The property tax millage rate proposed to be levied to support the proposed budget will be a subject of this hearing* A copy of the budget will be available for public inspection at Royalton Township Hall, 980 Miners Road, St. Joseph, Michigan 49085 phone number 429-2501.
Royalton Township will be levying the following millage for the 2021 tax year:
General Operating
.7504 mills
Fire/Amb/Lib
1.000 mills
Roads
1.000 mills
Airport
.1000 mills
FireEquip
.0125 mills
The above listed mills are the maximum allowable millages Royalton Township can levy by law.
The adoption of the budget will be an agenda item at the Special Meeting of March 29, 2021.
The Royalton Township board will provide necessary reasonable auxiliary aids and services, such as signers for the hearing impaired and audio tapes of printed materials being considered at the meeting to individuals with disabilities at the meeting upon 3 days notice to Royalton Township board.
