 Notice of a Meeting to Review a Proposed Project Requiring a Special Land Use Permit

Public Hearing

 Royalton Township Residents:

The Royalton Township Planning Commission shall conduct a meeting that includes a Public Hearing scheduled for Monday, April 5, 2021 at the Royalton Township Hall, 980 Miners Road, St. Joseph, MI 49085, starting at 7:00 pm to consider the following:

• The Royalton Township Planning Commission shall conduct a Public Hearing to review and consider a proposed Twenty Bed, Adult Foster Care Home to be located on vacant property. Property Identification Number: 11-17-0007-0023-00-9. The Royalton Township Zoning Ordinance Number 20, Chapter 6, Section 6.03 does outline the review procedures for this intended development. The zoning classification for the property is R-1 Residential. The proposed use is a permitted use in this zoning district, subject to approval of a Special Land Use Permit regarding access and outdoor open space.

The details regarding this Special Land Use Permit are on file at the Royalton Township Hall and may be viewed during regular business hours prior to the meeting. If you are unable to attend the meeting, written comments will be accepted at the Township Hall during regular hours, prior to the meeting.
