ROYALTON TOWNSHIP – VOTER REGISTRATION NOTICE

NOTICE OF VOTER REGISTRATION
ROYALTON TOWNSHIP ELECTION

TUESDAY, MAY 7, 2019

To the Qualified Electors of Royalton Township in the County of Berrien, State of Michigan:

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that any qualified elector of Royalton Township who is not already registered, may register to vote at the office of the Township Clerk; the office of the County Clerk; a Secretary of State branch office, or other designated state agency. Registration forms can be obtained at mi.gov/vote and mailed to the Township Clerk. Voters who are already registered may update their registration at www.expressSOS.com.

The name of no person, but an ACTUAL RESIDENT of the precinct at the time of registration and entitled under the Constitution, if remaining such resident, to vote at the next election, shall be entered in the registration records. The last day to register in any manner other than in-person with the local clerk is Monday, April 22, 2019 After this date, anyone who qualifies as an elector may register to vote in person with proof of residency (MCL 168.492) at the Royalton Township Clerk’s office, located at 980 Miners Road, St. Joseph, MI 49085 at the following times:

• Regular business hours: Monday-Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Saturday, May 4th from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
• Election Day, Tuesday May 7th from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that Royalton Township will be voting on

the following millage proposals as presented and listed below:

1. Levy of Fire Equipment Millage of 1/8 mil
2. Renewal of the Fire, Ambulance and Library Millage of 1 mil
