Regular Meeting Minutes
October 14, 2019

Regular meeting opened at 7:00 pm.

Members present; Osburn, Zabel, Gordon, Mitchell and Mangold

Public Comment None

Motion Mitchell supported by Gordon to approve the agenda with the Shedd Cemetery update added.

Motion carried.

Motion Zabel supported by Gordon to approve the consent agenda with bills estimated at $52,431.57.

Ayes: Mitchell, Mangold, Osburn, Zabel, Gordon

Nays: None

Motion carried.

Old Business;

Spring Creek School

The fund raiser that was held on October 6^th was a success The 1^st phase of the construction will begin as soon as all the permits are obtained by Triton Construction. The company is asking for 2 draws per month with Board approval. The Township Atty will review the contract. Phase 1 will include flooring, ceiling, electrical and drywall.

Motion by Mitchell supported by Gordon to provide 2 draws per month with Board approval to Triton Construction.

Ayes: Gordon, Zabel, Osburn, Mangold, Mitchell

Nays: None

Motion carried.

Motion by Mitchell supported by Zabel to submit the contract to the Township Atty. Upon his approval to sign the contract the construction process can proceed.

Ayes: Zabel, Gordon, Osburn, Mitchell, Mangold

Nays: None

Motion carried.

Enterprise Park

The Supervisor gave an update on the Village Zoning issue with the park.

Shedd Cemetery

The Rebecca Lodge held a Dedication Ceremony at the cemetery on Oct. 6^th.

 New Business:

          Ordinance #59 Tall Grass & Weed Ordinance

Motion By Zabel supported by Mitchell to adopt the new Tall Grass & Weed Ordinance #59.

Ayes: Mangold, Zabel, Osburn, Gordon, Mitchell

Nays: None

Motion carried.

FEMA Letter

The Township received a letter from FEMA to join the program. The board felt there was no need to participate.

Opiate Litigation Exclusion

A letter was received to participate in or allow our residents to participate in litigation against National Prescription Opiates. The board wants the Attorneys opinion the issue.
