LEGAL NOTICE

The Buchanan Township Board of Review will meet at the Buchanan Township Hall, 15235 N. Main Street, Buchanan, MI 49107 on the following dates:

Tuesday, March 2, 2021                                   5:00 p.m.                                              Organizational Meeting

Monday, March 8, 2021                                    1:00 pm – 4:00 pm, 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Appeal Hearing

Thursday, March 11, 2021                               9:00 am – 12:00 pm, 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Appeal Hearing

The Board of Review will meet as many more days as deemed necessary to hear questions, protests, and to equalize the 2021 assessments.

Appeals in person may be by appointment. Please call 269-695-6442 for appointments. Property owners may also appeal by writing to the Buchanan Township Board of Review at 15235 N. Main Street, Buchanan, MI 49107.  By Buchanan Township Board of Trustees resolution, property owners/residents are able to protest by letter, provided the protest letter is received by 4:00 p.m. on March 11, 2021.

The tentative ratios and estimates multipliers for each class of real property and personal property for 2021 are as follows:

101 – AG – Real                                   50.00%                                  1.0000

201 – Commercial – Real                 50.00%                                  1.0000

301 – Industrial – Real                      50.00%                                  1.0000

401 – Residential – Real                   50.00%                                  1.0000
