To the qualified electors of Galien Township, Berrien County, Michigan, notice is hereby given that an ELECTION will be held in the following precincts on Tuesday, August 7, 2018, for the purpose of voting upon a millage proposition.
GALIEN TOWNSHIP FIRE DEPARTMENT MILLAGE RENEWAL
1 MILL FOR 5 YEARS
Full text of the ballot proposition may be obtained at the Galien Township Office, 305 Kiley Drive, Galien, Michigan 49113, telephone: (269) 545-8143.
Persons with special needs, as defined in the Americans with Disabilities Act, should contact the Galien Township Clerk. To comply with the Help America Vote Act (HAVA), voting instructions will be available on CD and in Braille. All polling locations are accessible for voters with disabilities.
Polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The election will be held at the Galien Township Office/Fire Station Precinct 1, 305 Kiley Drive, Galien, MI 49113.
Absentee Voter ballots are available by contacting the Galien Township Clerk.
