ROYALTON TOWNSHIP – PUBLIC HEARING – ZONING AMENDMENT

Royalton Township Planning Commission will hold a public hearing to consider text amendments to the Zoning Ordinance for ground mounted and building mounted solar energy facilities. Date of Meeting: January 3, 2023 Time of Meeting: 7:00PM Place of Meeting: Royalton Township Hall, 980 Miners Rd., Saint Joseph, Mi 49085 Purpose of Meeting: To consider text amendments to the Zoning Ordinance for ground mounted and building mounted solar energy facilities, amendments include provisions for districts where the uses are permitted, site and building standards, dimensional standards and operational and permitting requirements. Sections to be amended include: Chapters 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, 12, 14, 17 and 18. This notice has been delivered for posting in compliance with PA 267 of 1976 as amended (Open Meetings Act), MCLA 41.72a (2) (3) and the American with Disabilities Act. (ADA) The Royalton Township Planning Commission will provide necessary and reasonable auxiliary aids and services to individuals with disabilities at the meeting or public hearing upon three (3) days notice to the Royalton Township Board.
