Description of the mortgaged premises: Situated in Township of Chikaming, Berrien County, Michigan, and described as: That part of Lot 40, Indian Lodge Park, Section 2, Township 7 South, Range 20 West, Chikaming Township, Berrien County, Michigan, according to the plat thereof, recorded April 21, 1927 in Book 8 of Plats, Page 11, described as follows, to-wit: Commencing at a point on the Westerly boundary line of Red Arrow Highway that is 175.07 feet South 39 degrees 32 minutes West of the Northeast corner of said Lot 40; thence continuing South 39 degrees 32 minutes West along said highway line, 222.43 feet; thence Northwesterly to a point on the West line of said Lot 40 that is 185.00 feet North of the Southwest corner of said Lot 40; thence North 233.00 feet to the Northwest corner of said Lot 40; thence South 89 degrees 40 minutes East, along the North Lot line, 203.00 feet; thence South 0 degrees 03 minutes East 140.00 feet; thence South 89 degrees 40 minutes East 85.60 feet; thence South 87 degrees 21 minutes East 83.60 feet to the place of beginning.
The redemption period shall be 1 year from the date of such sale, unless determined abandoned in accordance with MCLA 600.3241a.
If the property is sold at foreclosure sale under Chapter 32 of the Revised Judicature Act of 1961, pursuant to MCL 600.3278 the borrower will be held responsible to the person who buys the property at the mortgage foreclosure sale or to the mortgage holder for damaging the property during the redemption period.
