Description of the mortgaged premises: Situated in Township of Niles, Berrien County, Michigan, and described as: That part of the Northwest Quarter of Section 14, Township 8 South, Range 17 West, Niles Township, Berrien County, Michigan, described as follows, to wit: Commencing 2,366.5 feet South of the North Quarter Post of said Section 14; thence South 88 degrees 43 minutes West 340.0 feet to the place of beginning of the parcel of land herein described; thence South 88 degrees 43 minutes West 92.0 feet; thence North 279.0 feet; thence North 88 degrees 43 minutes East 92.0 feet; thence South 279.0 feet to the place of beginning. EXCEPTING THEREFROM the South 33.0 feet thereof for highway purposes.
The redemption period shall be 6 months from the date of such sale, unless determined abandoned in accordance with MCLA 600.3241a; or, if the subject real property is used for agricultural purposes as defined by MCL 600.3240(16).
If the property is sold at foreclosure sale under Chapter 32 of the Revised Judicature Act of 1961, pursuant to MCL 600.3278 the borrower will be held responsible to the person who buys the property at the mortgage foreclosure sale or to the mortgage holder for damaging the property during the redemption period.
